IAC Celebrates 15 Years of Production

Founded in 1993, IAC has grown to be one of the premier armored passenger vehicle manufacturers in the world.

Ogden, UT – April 30, 2008 – On May 4, 2008 International Armoring Corporation (IAC) will celebrate fifteen years of business. Founded in 1993 in Ogden, Utah, IAC has grown to be one of the premier armored passenger vehicle manufacturers in world. Having produced in excess of 5,000 vehicles, these vehicles have been shipped to over 50 different countries. Not only have 36 of the world’s Heads of State turned to this Ogden company for their “Bullet-proof vehicles” but religious leaders, corporate heads and the rich and the famous as well. During the past five years the U.S. Military has also turned to IAC for quick and effective solutions to protecting our troops. This protection included building 1,500 field ready-to-install Hummer armoring kits and over 1,000 vehicles for the various sub-contractors working in the Iraq theatre.

Founded on the principle of producing the finest, most technologically advanced armored passenger vehicles, IAC quickly moved to the forefront of the armoring industry. This technology includes the development of light weight armoring components, more original looking and easier to install ballistic transparent armor and the implementation of ready to install ballistic kits. IAC has been able to respond to an ever increasing demand on quality of the finished product as well as the growing demand worldwide. IAC vehicles have been field tested numerous times and have passed with flying colors – having saved 100’s of lives as well as providing peace of mind for those that perceive a threat.
During the past 15 years over 300 news stories have been done, worldwide, on IAC. Much notoriety has been brought to the state of Utah and the City of Ogden due to this media attention. Ogden is known as the place to come (from around the world) to have your vehicle armored. Stories have been done in Time Magazine, Newsweek, Robb Report, Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Utah Business as well as numerous newspapers around the U.S. and world. Featured stories have been done on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, the Science Channel, on the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, CNBC, CNN as well as many independent news channels (including our four local channels).

Over the years IAC has received numerous accolades and awards for their success.
